Ticket 54: Build process: linking, installation of *.so files, too "smart" ac/am
Hello,
- If built, for example, --with-al, the resulting library should be linked with -lal.
- *.so files should be installed with permissions 0755, not 644, as Makefile.in forces.
- Messing with CFLAGS is annoying. If I pass CFLAGS="-O0 -g -Wall" to the ./configure script, I don't want the -g to be stripped.
